lemon fi dem...which label??
is there more tune on this version i think it should be "hypocrite" from listening to the bassline.

but actually i am looking in general for tunes using same drum kit.

would be:

jr cat - no gimme no gun (j & m)
dennis brown slow down woman (jammys)
nitty gritty - badoolo (thriller)

i want to know more tune using that snare & hard guitar licks. thats exactly my style. jr gong & alborosie are using same instruments nowdays but mi want the real ting.

blessings

i dont know bout others but this style really got me.
i wanna know how this drums are getting recorded because the whole track sounds live is it a digital drum played by a regular drummer or something?

some more tunes:

colour man - kick up rumpus
nitty gritty - lick him kill him
and the whole "never ending wailers" cd is using the same style..

The label for Lemon fi dem is Harry J. I love this tune. You should also get Not Responsible by Singie Singie on Striker Lee label. It is a drum machine that is used. Nice pick with kick up rumpus. It is very good.

yea kick up rumpus is a good tune me a o listen it rightaway

any more tunes on "slow down woman/won't come easy"-?

ok, when we on jammys already... i was watching "wah dat" video last time the one with danny dread performing "ready fi join" & reagan at the start of the tape.. like in a middle of the cassette lil john is performing on a frankie paul version of "love won't come easy" riddim, the label says jammys, it was like "slow down woman" from sound but with a rimshot instead of this snare i was talking about above. i would like to know about that version also..
