Nexus Dub

I am a big scientist fan and thought I might pick up 'Nexus dub' by Roy Cousins for that reason.
Anyone have an opinion on this release. I see that it supposedly dates from 1967? Unless I have my history completely wrong surely any cuts on this album from that early period wouldn't be considered dub? Even so, is this selection worth getting?
Confusing!
Thanks for any info/opinions

Nice dubs but as you have spotted the claimed dates are completely wrong as is often the case with Roy's outputs.

very good dubs, oddly all credityed to differing artists, eg soldgie, ernest hoo kim, scientist, jammy etc..no way does it date from 1967..its early 80s dubs..typical cousins release., same dubs appearing over and over on many albums, inc the kingdom scientist sets..great dub though...

The title I see at ebreggae is *Nexus Dub: Various Engineer (1967-1980)*

Thanks for your info on this sean. I already have 'in the kingdom of dub' so will leave this one I think. Odd that the given dates might be more than 10 years out! Anyone know if the dubs are correctly attributed to their respective engineers or has Roy Cousins just completely made these up?

Perhaps it's just a typo and means to read 1977-1980?

No it seems to be deliberate. Most of the rhythms didn't exist on the dates shown. It isn't the only Tamoki Wambesi Dove release with dubious dates. There is a sound clash one that claims to be 1983 and you hear the selector say this a 85 style.
