HELP ME! Need 2 songs id'd....

Pls can anyone help to identify 2 different tracks??..
First one is sung by a woman, quite a high voice, the only lyrics I can remember are the chorus and they are, "never take never take never take this away from me...."
Second one is sung by a man, verse lyrics are, "i live my life for you..." and chorus, sung by women, " shine your light shine your light....
Both are tracks from the 70's, I think and quite slow beats, roots/lovers rock style.
I can't give you anymore than that! Please help, it's driving me mad.....
