Quiet Place - Winston Francis on Music Lab 10" (MLD007B) has a nice dub passage. A side is Keep On Trying by Delroy Wilson.

'Quiet Place' aka Johnny Dollar, as covered by Winston Francis, was the original inspiration for the song that later became known as Man Next Door. The two songs have similar lyrics but have developed into different rhythms. If the U-Roy cut you mention is the one on Jah Son Of Africa then it's the Man Next Door version you want rather than the earlier Studio One cut.
I have that on a DEB 12" but there are plenty of Dennis's vocals left in the mix so it's probably not worth hunting down if you want the pure dub.
I vaguely recall it being on a King Tubby CD, but there are so many false titles on those things it might take hours to trace!

Hmmm....no Tubby in this list but something called "Dub Next Door" has to be promising!

I have another version on Big Tanka 12" by Black Crucial(s) on the same rhythm as Yellowman - Soldier Take Over. It's the B side of Tonight.

I've got to get away AKA Man next door aka Quit place.
The song I,ve got to get a way by John Holt is the song man next door, by Dennis Brown, the slits ,Horace Andy etc.
The same song Quiet Place by the Horace Andy,Paragons (John Holt)Posion flour Dr Alimantado = over the Horace Andy version of the song.
"Is not song the Quiet Place by Winston Francis for ST 1"
