i wonder if there is another cut to this version

There is a dub version called JAILBREAK ( complete with gun shot)
on SLY & ROBBIE: Reggae Greats ISLAND MASTERS CD 554 468-2

also a quick search here on RA shows a track called FORT AUGUSTUS ROCK
by Augustus Pablo(same riddim ?)

that Reggae Greats cd came also on vinyl

also there is another dub version on either disco dub or
