What does this mean for you, bredrens? Its a word full of mysticism for me...

I would take it as...

The light of love that you can feel inside, that shines in the eyes, that gives hope, energy and reflexion and lead you when the landscape is dark... Something positive and constructive that open the heart to honnesty and simplicity, to go forward ever...

Mmmh... something like that :)
But there is no real definition, and thats the strength of the Rasta movement... No ism and schism...
But anyway, how do you take it?

Love & Livity

I find "livity" to be just the thing that separates Rasta from all religions & religionists. Rasta don't just go to church on Sundays and start sinning again on Mondays. Instead, Rasta live it up as it was written. Rasta don't believe illusions and mix up with them - Rasta live up, following JAH example, trodding ever forwards to make one's ways perfect, in HIM. And that is livity.

Then again, livity is also something within the character of a true rastaman or wombman; a divine vibration, which is felt by everyone around him/her. Sometimes people might feel intimidated by this, but most often the divine vibrations spread, uplift and purify.

Deuteronomy 28:10 And all people of the earth shall see that thou art called by the name of the LORD; and they shall be afraid of thee.
