since you are just starting to listen to dub, you should understand that there are many riddims which are used in dub versions by more than one artist. example, you will find many melodies from familiar bmw songs in dub plate versions in the portfolio of scratch. king tubby's plates are full of riddims from all over the place.
i personally cannot suggest just dub tracks, although i have some favorites. i more or less choose an album that i like and listen to it all (only occasionally do i skip a track).
another thing you will discover is that you might like the sounds coming out of specific studios, like maybe you will begin to be a big fan of stuff coming out of channel one or studio one or the ark. you will listen to a dub track for the first time and think "i know that tune from somehwere," as you leaf through your reggae albums for the vocal track taht you know. it becomes addicting, and you will find that you can recognize studio styles, mixing styles, and producers that you prefer. and you will even be able to get a good idea of which backing bands and even specific musicians that you prefer the style of. it becomes an addiction or even an obsession the way some people are with their favorite sport or food.

so maybe start with some compilations from specific producers, studios, or labels and go from there. or find dub versions of vocal albums you really like. either way you can't lose starting off that way.
and of course, this site can definitely point you the right way...

I just recently got into dub, particular King Tubby's versions. These are by far my favorites:

Tommy McCook & The Aggrovators - A Creator of Dub
Tommy McCook & The Aggrovators - A Collie Dub
The Aggrovators - Dub Incorporated (Original)
King Tubby - 18 Dub
King Tubby - Shock Dem Dub
King Tubby - Heritage Dub
Yabby You Meets King Tubby - Conquering Dub

Dub is very new to me, and hopefully I will start getting into other artists. I cannot explain why I love this music so much, especially the King Tubby's stuff from the 1970's. I've really never felt this way about a certain type of music before, its kind of weird haha.
