What does it mean to "pop a style" on someone? This occurs in several Reggae songs, such as the glorious "Pop no style on I" by Hugh Mundell.

I think it means to develop a superior attitude over someone. That's my guess.

Yes Survival,you said it,it means no lightweight stuff,no commercialism,no foriegn stylee,just strictly roots!
