Can anyone rate this album
[cover=2051,2420]
Dont know band nor album.
Its recorded at Harry J and Mixed by King Tubby so it should be good right ???
Also any recommendations for some good percussion heavy dubs from the 70`s.
Thanks

Killer one IMO but very special. You have to like talking drums to like this album. By the way, it has been uploaded on a site few days ago (not by me) :

also love that album very much but no other information... could someone help at least regarding the musicians.
I was wondering if Carlton Barret could not be the drummer on some songs (1 and 2), the style is very similar.
ps : specially like "late late talk" using on part of joe higgs' let us do something bassline (1974)

Personally, it's not my cup of tea. Each to his own though.

Oh my god - for me it is definitley a real KILLER.
Very very hard Roots dubs on it.
Funny story about the releases of this album:
1) First release 1976 on the JIGSAW label in the UK. Maybe 250 copies were pressed. Great sound, great mix, acceptable pressing. NO picture cover.
2) Second release 1978 on the DIFFERENT label in the UK. Great sound, KILLER mix, great pressing. And a picture cover. I don't think that more than 500 copies were pressed.
3) Third release on the LIGHTNING & THUNDER label in the USA. Sounded OK, different mixing to the two UK releases, another stereo perspective. Fine pressing, maybe 200 copies pressed. NO picture cover. The tracks changed their names.
I am waiting for a great re-release mastered from the original masters, pressed on 180g virgin vinyl .....
Maybe I will have to wait a little bit longer .....
Funny
