Why would Virgin reissue Planet Mars Dub on CD, but not reissue Planet Earth? This doesn't make sense to me.

maybe the dub was bigger than the vocal lp....
i enjoy planet earth, but i wouldnt call it crucial. the dub is a strong dub album with good riddims

To go along with this question.....I keep wondering when Virgin/Frontline will re-issue the Gladiators' "Naturality". Does anyone have any connections with them? It's been about 5 years since they started the re-issues and nothing new has come about.

Yes, I heard from a store owner that Virgin intended to re-issue all of their late 1970s Front Line LPs on CD back in 2002.

I bought a few of them on release (including the Gladiators 'Sweet So Till' but not Naturality). Some came on vinyl too!

But then they seemed to dry up. Maybe sales weren't as strong as they hoped.

Jah Titus - The American Release of that Big Youth CD is still available at ReggaeCD.com I'm sure Caroline label is simply Virgin in North America.

This is the label from I-Roy's "Crisus Time", which confirms that connection;

Hi Wareika

I must admit I was always convinced that was the original Virgin logo, which then morphed into the more *conservative* Roger Dean version. I'm probably wrong, of course.

Just need someone to get us a pic of the "Tubular Bells" record label, I suppose. :)
