Well, word to the wise.
Wynonie Harris is dead. Has been since the sixties. Won't be needing those checks now. (Anyway, he'd probably blow it all on booze.)
But I think he was pretty popular in Jamaica back in the 40-50s. Recordings are well worth seeking out. Brilliant.
