Anyone have a MINT or EX++ of this LP. Original press. Vinyl only.

I know he says that the condition is VG but dont trust him. its better. All of his records is graded VG. I bought an LP from him that was in VG++/EX.

I would much rather set something up with a R-A member as I like the concept of trading record for record without cash if possible.

And I don't want a copy with writing on the cover. It isn't that rare so I'd prefer to hold out for a really crisp copy.

Also, a bit off/on topic.
What ever possesed these people to write/mark their jackets and labels?
Or should I say mark them so crudely.

I see this time and time again.
Huge marker tags on covers, labels ruined by chicken scratch, back jackets with notations.

I overstand it's for ID purposes or quick reference in the dance, maybe even a safegaurd for stolen items, but
jus' that almost evrytime it's done so sloppily.

Guess it's like most tings, people owned them, loved them, played them and were'nt thinking resale or collectability. Can't fault them on that.

I still envision a cleaner way of organizing, even pre-post it note.

I have some records I bought from someone's collection which have very nice and discreet ID label on them. I can take that. But writing on labels, and especially jackets, does my head in.

When I DJ, I use Post-Its for ID purposes and then just pull them off afterwards.

Why do you use Post-Its Leggo? On blank records?

I use them to mark the side I want to play in the session. I can't read the labels anymore in poor light. Of course also for white labels as reading the matrix (if there is one) in the dark is even harder! I might also put a comment on them like 'short' meaning, beware, this track isn't very long!

So I am basically using post-its as sound man markings.

Maybe when the sound guys originally got these records they were cheap. Which is why they didn't care if they scribbled on the labels in marker pen. But I couldn't bring myself to mark a record permanently even if it only cost me a few pence (which mostly they don't!).
