put this in the contribute column by accident. here it is in the correct place.

I have been a RA member for about a month now and noticed that one album seems to crop up every week.SCIENTIST DUB LANDING.

Is this because this is the best Dub album of all time? or do those elusive vocal cuts that no one can find keep the anoraks searching and hoping they will be the first to find them?

Certainly wish i could find Freddy McKay's "Hey
Stranger"! Crucial riddim!

thats one of the 'easier' vocals to find from that LP ephraim.. (and to be honest its the only riddim I find a bit disappointing on the album.. a personal taste thing -don't take it personally )

donstrumental: it is the best dub album of all time imo.
find one other dub album with that many (good) minor key riddims and on top of that, brilliant mixing - the starlight press is just perfect too - I personally have never heard another LP that sounds so fat.

even more 'interesting' mixing on 'introducing scientist.. best dub album in the world.. but.. apart from 3 riddims there, the rest dont do much for me.. dont rememeber the titles for sure but they may be: rubber foot, steppers dub, bali-hi, ?

steppers dub which is the dub from Al campbell's you jammin is one of my favourite mixes out of all the scientist mixes but dub landing is my favourite album on the whole.

I have asked Linval Thompson about the tracks on the album,he says he can't find the tapes.

you jammin is up on ebay for anyone interested.will find the link and post it.

True that.Tracks never saw light of day on acetate.In a nutshell , there aren't there

Quite a lot was on 7 inch and the other dub landing lp is dubs to the vicroys tunes.
