I think its more in the cultural vein, 'progressive reggae', just like Aswad and the like
Never heard them, no, but heard about them

I remember John Peel playing one track from a 'live' compilation from way back when, probably around 1980. A song by Icarus called 'Nah me culture dat'(or something almost like that). To me this one sounded like a kind of speeded-up Misty in Roots, not bad at all, very kicking.
Anybody who knows this one ?

I just picked up their album on the label Russian Roulette called State Of Mind, it is pretty good with three super tough tracks.

Can I get hold of their album please? I have a very poor recording copied from a freind who was killed in a car crash a few years ago, great memories but would love an original copy!
