Any news on Errol "Tazan" Nelson?

I haven't seen or heard of Errol Nelson "Tazan" since the early 80's when he was playing with the High Times Players, Chinna Smith and Mutabaruka. Does anyone know if/ what he's up to these days? I remember him as such a beautiful, gentle soul. He once wrote and sang a song for me, about me. I'd love to hear any news of him.
