Firstly, I am aware I have posted this message in the wrong place but I guessed it is where it would get most hits.

I have come home from work this evening to a PM from Leggo Rocker saying that he is going to leave the site / forum for a while.

The reason for this, he states, is that he has been receiving rude and nasty PM`S allday today from one person who uses this site.

I dont think I have to say the name of the person as if you have all been following specific threads recently then you will know who this person is.

I have known Leggo for a long time, we have had some good discussions, and many differences of opinion. But its always been constructive and, up until this week, been friendly and well mannered.

You will also probably know that this week I stupidly posted a thread called "Leggo Rocker" knocking him for his role in getting involved in the negative threads that have been posted here recently. This was wrong and I came out an apologised as I did not realise to what extend he was being baited away from the forum.

I for one do not want Leggo Rocker to leave this forum. Why should a person, who is passionate about reggae, be forced to leave a site he enjoys to visit, because of the actions of ONE person who obviously has nothing better to do with his time than to stir up trouble.

This guy cannot possibly be a true lover of reggae music, he cant be because he certainly isn`t behaving in the way that the music portrays . Their is a message in the music of peace, love and harmony and to respect your fellow man.

So come on guys come out and give some public support for Leggo Rocker and show that you are behind him.

This place is not just a website, its like a family and Leggo is as much apart of this family as anyone else.

So stay Leggo and dont let this person win. You leave and he has achieved his aim, its what he wants so why give him the pleasure.

Moderators, surely their is something you can do about this situation. This is wrong and not what this site is all about. Why should one person be allowed to spoil things for everyone else. If you let this guy achieve his aim, then it will surley happen again. Who will he choose to pick on next ??

big word rootsman. i think leggo has enuff friends here and he knows it. its supposed to be an online commUNITY, and something to enjoy. and although the posts have been between two guys, its bad vibes and everyone feeling it. and we dont love it.... nuff said.

You have probably expressed the thoughts of 99% of the contributors of this forum and site.We all use this site " Roots Archives " as a place of insight ,gathering of knowledge and specific love of reggae music.This should not be diluted by the obsessive meanderings of bigotted peoples,if I understand this situation correctly.This is a big world we live in,let`s get on with our love of music.If I`ve offfended anyone,TOUGH!!!!

definitely feel myself that leggo should stay and moderrate the way he's done. opinionated in a most positive way, so keep it up

I think many people take the internet too seriously.

Moderators step up and deal with this,Reading a Leggo Rocker post was the reason i became a member in the first place.If Leggo goes i won't be to far behind him.

Well first of all sad to hear that someone out there that is on this site to inquire on reggae which is a rightious religious sound can start talking shit to one of the most intresting,inquisitive,knowledgable and popular person leggo rocker.

this is one of the rules set out in the forum list, if this rule has been broken against leggo, then it seems clear that individuals should be dealt with according to the rules of the forum.

I have been in contact with Leggo over this and im hoping he will see reason, i believe there should be other moderators that should be available to support Leggo; without his moderation of the forum it will become very difficult indeed.
