Moderators responce required.

this is a simple test, its not meant in an offensive way, i am only interested in the level of notice the contribute forums get.
I ask only that a moderator (with power to make a differnce) responds to this thread to show how often this board is checked.
I have labeled the title much more clearly then most threads on here to find out the fastest responce time.

thank you. Bellyman is it possible to get some of the ideas on here looked at or thought about? theres been some good ones recently..
I have noticed the updates that were (pre oct 2007) quite often added have stopped.
Is there a way we can help as it may be that you guys have become very busy and unable to add to the database as frequent as in the past.

Thank you for your offer. I don't know too what has happened in the last months that there was no further development but I think that everything positive has reached the makers of this site. Please allow them some time to go for the realisation of some things.

Interesting Bellyman, so who is it that is in control of the site development? & who is it that has control of the forums?, are you able to do forum changes? some of the suggestions on the contribute forum are regarding addional areas of it and are forum related?

As it is said already somewhere else in some thread, the guys who are running this site are Mat and Seb who are devoting their own free time (which is rare) and own money (even rarer) to the developments of the Roots Archives.
The moderators like Ron, Hans, Leggo Rocker and myself are supervising the forums, to check that all contributors go along the guidelines etc. A mod has no technical devices to work on any relevant changes concerning the site.
All of your suggestions made in the 'Contribute'-forum are well-received from our two 'in-control' and I belive that there is enough material for the next update already. It only will take a little more time to go into the next update for the Archives.
There have been so many great improvements on this site in the last year (remember them ?) and I know that all of them came to life under hard pressures for the makers.
There are some more things planned for the future but if you want to know exactly 'what will come and when and how' then please write your questions directly to the 'control booth' via using the 'Contact' link on the left sidebar.
All the Best

They are too busy sending R-A t-shirts which sell like hotcakes for sure

!
Make me think of that french proverb : *tout vient à point qui sait attendre* meaning more or less *everything happens at the right time to the one able to wait*.
So be patient

Thanks for the reply Bellyman, this thread is not a critical one, it is just for interest as i was interested on the runnings and 'ins and outs' of the place.
I appreciate the work all of you do to keep this site free and working without advertisement.
It is good to hear that what we are saying is being read by someone, this thread is only because some of them have ended up in stages where nothing is heard from anyone, now i'll be sure that even without a responce they are noted.
Thank you

I think we (the mods and others) have understood you quite right, James. No need to worry about that.
You have just put in words what more contributors and users are thinking, including myself. Although I am only a small part of creation I also want to see the site develop and I agree that there are some really great ideas still sleeping in the bag
Thank you for reminding us.
