Yeah man of course.I watched toots at a german reggae fest a couple of summers ago and he was fantastic,he got people out of the audience up on stage with him even the mayor of cologne was up their with him.I saw him again at glastonbury in england and he just blew everyone away.He recorded a tune recently with country artist willie nelson called 'still is still moving to me' i played it one night not knowing how people would react,it turnend a few heads and made people listen and take note.

Toots Hibbert is one of the true originators of Reggae. No-one sounds like the Maytals, they are totally unique. On an International scale, they are second perhaps only to Bob Marley. Folklore has it Chris Blackwell signed the Wailers only after he failed to get Toot's Signature.

Respect to the Maytals

I've had the pleasure of seeing Toots twice up here in ecotopia. First outdoors with Burning Spear, The Wailers, and Santana. An outstanding show all day and all night.

Then, Fred brought his band to our little nightspot and played six feet in front of us. A gorgeous hunk of male--he works out. His voice is so strong that he held the mike down by his waistband, and we could hear him unamplified over the thundering Maytals. He played most of his greats, and this was my all-time favorite concert in my whole life!
