Could Jah Cure be the next Bob Marley?

We all know Bob Marley is an icon, and no one could ever have that kind of impact on reggae again, or could they...and if so, who do you predict could become the new voice of reggae.
I predict that it will be Jah Cure when he is released...
do you agree, or disagree?

I don't agree with you. I love Jah Cure and his Music, just I also love garnet silk, but I think it's totally impossible to be another bob marley. First we must accept the fact, that we already had our bob marley and it would be too selfish to wait for another one. That doesn't mean that Reggae Musician cannot be succesful in their doing.

There will simply be no more Bob, no more Elvis, no more Beatles or John Lennon, no more Fela or Dylan or Woody Guthrie or of Robert Johnson's stature or no more composer like Mozart, the big masters are few, we've had most of them already

well jah cure is one of the top vocalist/songwriters in the recent years...his music have it's own level !
as for marley...well...marley was not singer..or a preformer...marley was a messenger...real messenger...beyond the music,succses,prefomenses...he was send on a mission...after sitting with rojer steffanz last week you become to know planty things about marley the man...simple man who had one thing on his mind "how to make the world that we live in a better place" i dont think that there is any other singer who think the same.

Definitely not Jah Cure. If there is anybody out there that could attain that level it's gonna be someone with with a bit more edge to their sound.

Well this could be another discussion
I guess 90 % believe that jah cure is innocent and I am one of those 90 %. Maybe it's because I don't believe in Jamaican judicature.
But anyway there was always a search of a new bob marley. in the eighties some critics considered dennis brown or john holt to sit on the reggae throne. in the 90 ies it was garnet silk, and now it is jah cure.

Who knows maybe you're right John! Maybe the cure is innocent. I remember how the jamaican judicature behaved when it came to the conviction of peter tosh's murderer. I heard the judge and jury came to a conclusion in only 11 minutes. Not enough time to throw light on that homicide case
