If you're JD Hylton, you'd run 26 miles in the Barcelona heat!
But don't worry if this sounds a little bit further than you could go personally. You can still help out with some much-needed sponsor money - which you can donate at:
http://www.alphaboysschool.co.uk/donate.htm
Joseph Dubois "JD" Hylton, a qualified physiotherapist, remembers meeting Sister Mary Ignatius, and thinks he owes her and Alpha Boys' School a great deal. After all, she taught and cared for his Dad when he was a child, who currently is the Chair of the Alpha Boys' Association for Poor and Disadvantaged Children. Five years after "Sr Iggy" passed away, JD is adamant that her memory needs to be kept alive. And so he will do his little bit by running the Barcelona Marathon on the 2nd of March – and in doing so he wants to carry the names of his sponsors with him over the whole 26 miles. He wishes you to support his little bit.
This will be JD's first full marathon outside the UK. A lover of sports with a BSc degree in sports science, JD hopes to finish the race in under 4 hours. "This", he said, "could be potential sponsors' chance of virtually running a marathon all for a good cause".
Once again, you can donate at:
