Talkin Blues. The very best from Dillinger?

Just played this LP:

I am a HUGE fan of the CB200 LP (helped by the fact that I used to ride a CB200 when that record came out!).
BUT, each time I listen to Talkin' Blues I like it more and more. Tonight, playing it again, I started to think that this has to be the best work from Dillinger.
Massive riddims, with snatches of Johnny Clarke and that unique horn sound from the Agrovators. Dillinger pon de mic at his very best. Does it get any better than this from the man Lester Bullocks? (He's so aptly named, this dread has got balls!)

I suppose u mean this one Leggo?
I think you got a wrong cover.
Anyway I think that this one Dillingers best work is, from what I've heard so far.
Especially like "African World Wide"

How is it relevant to the discussion that you just spinned This Is Reggae vol 3?
Dillinger is one of the better foundation toasters in my opinion. Not sure I could pick a favorite album, haven't listened them all and he was a very productive man...
But I will agree with you that Talkin' Blues is very good, Leggo. But CB200 and Ready Natty Dreadie are great albums too. I enjoy Dillinger on the Studio One riddims on the latter.. Don't have the original vinyl though
EDIT: DO'H - TOO SLOW with teasing Leggo!

... and yes, I agree. 'African World Wide' is a 100% killer track.

This is without a doubt, the best dillinger compilation ever. From the early track for Scratch to the hard roots for Bunny Lee.

But isn't a compilation kind of cheating here? Especially when it has about 40 tracks on it!
That CD is a 'best of' album so therefore it really should be the best.

Hows it cheating ? its all music.
And for some people CD is the only way to get hold of some of these albums unless you have pockets that reach your shoes.
But yes, Dillinger is a great artist with some awesome albums.
Think I will dig out a few

When it comes to Dillingers solo albums I've always rated ''CB 200'' the most. I haven't really listened too much to Talkin Blues though. But my favorite album that features Dillinger is his Clash album with Trinity.

The production by Clem Bushay are fantastic and both deejays are at their prime on the rhythms. I've also seen that it has been released on CD recently for all of you that listen to CD's.
