Junior Byles 'Rasta No Pickpicket'

I have heard the title track but nothing else...

is the rest of the album as good as that track??

the only place i can find it (LP) is ernieBs....do you guys think its worth the 40 or 50 bucks?

Yes the rest of the albums just as good as the title track itself.Song's like 'collie weed' and 'i nah got it' are roots at it's best. (In my opinion).As for paying 40-50 dollars thats up to you.(Becareful not to scratch it now)

Beware though, there are are two versions of this track. One recorded for Upsetter in early 70s, and another one recorded in the 80s, which I reckon is the one on the album you are talking about. Both are good, but they are quite different, so it is better you know before buying.

Yeah brudda, the version i was familar with was the one that was recorded in the 70s and i just heard the other version, and they are both awesome!

I think, maybe becuase i was familar with it, i enjoy the first version better. But the album sounds pretty good after the first listen, im going to play it back a few times and see what tracks i really like!

oh yeah i just did some further investigation and yeah, the version i had first was off of the Lee Perry album 'Give me Power'
