Greetings to all of you

First and foremost – there’s a new date – 14th June - for Mash it Up! 2008 at Lark in the Park, London N1. And it’s the only one I’m putting on this year (so I hope you can make it).

Advance bookings are available – first come, first served - £5.

And if you need any musical persuasion, please click this link for a brand-new Mash it Up! jukebox:

The second new thing is - I have come up with a new idea to put food on the Baldhead family table:
Hire the Mash it Up! mobile disco!
Please click this link for more information - and also a new and different Mash it Up! jukebox :

And here's new thing number three: -
Recommended by ‘Mojo’ magazine this month - my good friend Ian has put together the first of two broadcasts which showcase the graduates of the Alpha Boys School and Orphanage. So, if you don’t already know why I always give a little of any Mash it Up! money to Alpha - then I recommend you click the following link and take a listen to what Mojo described as: ".. gems from his collection……..stories trivia and details .. an engagingly square voiceover and much echo effect.":

OK - that's it for now - if you have any questions at all - please get in touch:

**Stop Press!**

For one night only, the internet's two most popular reggae podcasters will be going head to head in a battle for your dancing feet at Mash it Up! - http://www.mashitup.org.uk/

**BigMikeyDread Reggae Radio vs House of Reggae**

http://bigmikeydread.podomatic.com/
http://houseofreggae.podomatic.com/

Their podcasts are each downloaded in their tens of thousands - in Jamaica, all over the Caribbean and everywhere from China to Iceland, Africa and Peru!

As well as being the world's number one and two - Ian and Mikey (for those are their names) are long-time friends so you can expect some very nice vibes as they select the tunes alongside the regular Mash it Up! selectors: DJ Evel Ken and the Baldhead Selector.

N.B. - We'll be mixing up the danceable reggae and the funk as ever but with Ian and Mikey in the house you should expect a higher percentage of sweet reggae music this time around.

As ever, we'll give at least ten per cent of any money we make to the legendary Alpha Boys School in memory of Don Drummond and Alpha's other great, musical graduates.

Respect

Baldy

Dear good people

Mash it Up! is drawing bookings from far and wide.

I am dead chuffed to have taken bookings from such far-flung places as the west country and Aberdeen. I’ve taken bookings from Sydney, Australia(!) and in Perth Road, Finsbury Park.

And with if you fancy coming together for a knees-up with these far-flung folk in less than two weeks – (and I certainly hope you do)
– now is the time to book your place.

NB - This is the only Mash it Up! I’m putting on this year.
Advance bookings are available – first come, first served.

The reason for such far-flung interest is that playing the tunes alongside your regular Mash it Up! selectors - myself and DJ Evel Ken, we’ve got – (in something of a coup) – both of the internet’s two favourite reggae podcasters – Ian (House of Reggae) and Big Mikey (BigMikeyDread Reggae Radio).

What’s more, Ian and Mikey are long-time friends so the vibes will surely be sweet indeed. In fact you can already see how these two internet legends collaborate as they have created a very good-looking website together.
