Litelet,
Funny you mention that one - been meaning ask about it - particularly the roots tunes on it.
Collieman - according to the price sticker, I bought 'The Cross or the Gun' in 1994 - and by the sound of it, it probably was recorded real close to that time frame.
It's digital sounding, musicians, a total of three of them?:
Bass - Christopher Meredith
Drums - Squidly Cole
Drums & Percussions - Anthony Asher Brissett
Produced & Arranged by Tappa Zukie
Engineers - Culture Lee & Bravo
Recorded at - Leggo's, Black Scorpio & Music Works
Side A
Got to Take a Chance, Rev. Cavelero, Trigger Happy Babylon, Snake in the Grass, Uptown Babies, Norman the Gambler
Side B
Nobody's Child, Champion of Love, The Clock, Lay Your Troubles, Wet Dreams
imo, Trigger Happy Babylon is great & the best track by far. Rev Cavelero is very good too - Got To Take a Chance is nice also. From there, not much to get excited over.
