SATTA DUB - STRICTLY ROOTS

I have this on Well Charge label. Matrix is CO-8044.

I don't see it here on R-A.

Am I not seeing it or is it really not here?

Anyone know the date?

I presume the players are the Revolutionaries but who are the producer and mixer.

It is similar to this in design:

http://members.shaw.ca/dublp2/pic117.html

but the cover is green printing and the word 'roots' has roots growing from it! Label is also missing the red ink.

Whatever its history, it is a great LP.

OK, I have that LP also Ron, I shall listen to them both side by side to check if they are the same LP and report back here soon.

How come that almost everybody gets these two records mixed up ? This error is around since the last 30 years.
No, they are not the same.
'Satta Dub - Strictly Roots' is different to 'Vital Dub - Well Charged / Strictly Rockers'.
;)

Glad to hear that Bellyman - as if they were the same LP I would have wasted a lot of cash!!

And yes, my ears also just told me they are different...

I guess the mix up maybe caused by the artwork being so similar. But then, isn't the artwork generic of the Well Charge label output of that era?

But I still don't see it on R-A! Is it listed?

satta dub is unreleased thus far. harder to find more than vital dub. even revival dub also have the same well charge / discomix symbol on the front cover too. i originally bought my copy of satta dub back in late 76 / early 77
