forever version by d alcapone

such a sweet sweet album, brought to me courtesy of my local library. the cd has got 18 versions, most under 3 mins long , dennis' style is dj ing like u roy and i roy, i was not familiar with his style until very recently. any thoughts on dennis alcapone?

Not a great fan of Alcapone, in fact his Guns Don't Argue on Trojan I consider boring, but...
... Forever Version is very very good:)
It goes very smoothly, even it's filled with bonus tracks. I think this album won RA Awards 2007 in DJ category.That's a fine recommendation:)

Dennis Alcapone was on par with U Roy as an innovator of the dj style and as a popular dj of the day who toasted over classic Treasure Isle tunes as well as Studio One. Also check out the rootsier Universal Rockers on RAS.

Dennis Alcapone is a legend and a true gent.
His 'Power Version' is one of the most uplifting sides for me.
