quick question as google dont give out much information:
who is two friends and what they have to do with music works? i read somewhere its m.bennet i know that name but still it dont tell me much

beside, i wanna know someting about gussie p or clarke, who is who

Hmn Im pretty interested in this too, theres some real killers on two friends and a lot of tunes that could do with a repress.

Two Friends is Mikey Bennett`s label, he was part of the group called Home T. He co-wrote / produced many of the big hits for Gussie Clarke`s Music Works / Anchor label in the late 80`s and early 90`s, tunes for Gregory Isaacs, Shabba, Cocoa Tea, Brian & Tony Gold, Chevelle Franklin and so on. He was able to record and produce at Gussie` studio for his own Two Friends label. A little after he set up his own Grafton Rd studio and labels. He continues to write and produce hit songs for many artists.

There is more to the story but you will have to search the www yourselves for that.

Gussie P is a UK producer who formerly worked at Fashion / A-Class studio, no connection with Gussie Clarke.
