Producer phillip fattis burrell, whoalso does evterminator label in ja.
And they are distributed by jet star.
Its a label in its own right.
I got a charm 12" in my hand your lucky it took 10 seconds to find otherwise i couldnt be doing with that digging.
The tune is Beres Hammond - Emptyness Inside 12" UK that was first on a JA Exterminator 7" and has a slightly differnet mix on the vocal and dub. the riddim cuts out and then cuts back in on the charm.
The charm label releases UK original stuff and releases ja stuff on a uk release.
And has been going since the late 80`s.
peace edit on spelling how to who

It was a Jetstar label, nothing to do with Fatis other than they released a lot of his material on it. Jetstar was a major distributor, run by the Palmer Bros (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pama_Records), on par with USA VP label, but due to the current poor record business they went into liquidation about a year ago.

Jetstar were both a distributor and record label, they had thier own `Cave` studio based in the same premises and recorded many jamaican artists, Luciano, Daweh Congo, Bob Andy, Michael Prophet, Gregory Isaacs, Queen Omega, Bushman, Admiral Tibet, Johnny Clarke, Anthony B and so on, taking advantage of the fact that many of these artists would pass through thier distribution house. The product would then see release on thier Jetstar and Charm labels.
The Cave studio was built in the late 90s and the first inhouse engineer was Trevor `Jugglin` T, later replaced by Danny Ray and Fitzroy Blake, many of the musicians from the Ruff Cutt Band were utilised, as well as guys like Sly & Robbie, Computer Paul and Mafia & Fluxy.
They did also license much material from other producers and labels to release on thier Jetstar/Charm label. You might see it as Jetstar = distributor / Charm = label, but both under the same company roof !
