Augustus Pablo is a reggae legend with a world-wide cult
following.A mysterious, mystic producer and artist, he
created two of the fifty greatest reggae albums of all time
and, as the acknowledged founder of dub music, influenced
hip hop, dancehall music, electronica and more.
The Rockers Story is the first box set of Augustus Pablo's
work ever produced;for the time the complete picture of
Pablo's greatness as an artist, instrumentalist, producer
and dub-master come together in one dynamic package!
The four audio CDs are comprised of a total of 65 tracks,
including many of his greatest and most famous works as
well as rare tracks previously unavailable or available only
on obscure 7" singles;includes his productions of such
notables as Jacob Miller, The Heptones, Hugh Mundell,
Dillinger and more!. The DVD includes previously unseen and
unreleased footage of Augustus Pablo performing in concert.
