with you being in San diego do u happen to know a DJ named Rootsman? he used to have a show on live365.com but not sure what happened to him, but it sounded like a well established show, he used to play some great local stuff, just wondering if the show is still around?

SIDEWays: Nice Flyer playing on the Addis Ababa 7". I have that single (Heart desire) and others,signed by him, for sale-cheap. I brought him down here (San Diego) for a show early 2007...since then, he's been back once again (via Irie Eyes)...great performer and cool dude.
Didn't know there was a repress of his Visions of love LP, thought it was only pressed once on the Epiphany record label. You must be talking about the CD. You can buy CD copies of all of his material, signed, directly through Earl (Papa Z) from his website (just google it online).
Sad Note: If you've ever seen the cover to "Visions of Love" LP, it has Earl sitting with two of his children. I asked him how old they are now and he said they are no longer living. Man, I would hate to outlive my children.
Can't wait to see him on stage again. Adam
