Hi guys. I've got a selection of 80s Reggae vinyl up for grabs. Mainly LPs but a handful of 12s in there as well. I've put 23 up and have another 19 to add over the next couple of days.

Seems a shame to move them on but I figure a true Reggae head might appreciate them more than just sitting on my shelves.

Seems the Japanese like Reggae vinyl. But what I can't explain is how something Like Smiley Culture's "Cockney Translator" can have people bidding £13.50 for a 12", but a classic Solomonic Jamaican pressing of Bunny Wailer's "Rule Dance Hall" goes without a watcher or a bid. It's a funny old world.

I've relisted the few that didn't sell so there's still some good ones left (I think they're good anyway).

A brief history of me - lived next door to a Jamaican family when I was a kid. One of the sons played Reggae LOUD all the time. My first vinyl was Exodus and I continued to listen, favouring dub more than anything else. John Peel gave me a staple diet of quality dub and I've continued to love it ever since. 1982 came and Hip Hop grabbed my attention, shaping my musical tastes more than anything else. I was gutted as a collection of tapes from John Peel got destroyed in a flood.

Now I run www.skratchworx.com (DJ technology news and reviews website) and listen to more and more Reggae from the comfort of my home office. When the money flows a little better, I'll build myself a good library of dub vinyl.
