does anyone know about this group called nomads did an album called unity came out 1979 and if it is hard roots?

hi teo , i never hear it , one told m this is not hard roots reggae , more funky reggae style even if the cover & the album's titles seems to be a nice reggae album.
i would not buy before listening

it was a detroit band, unity came out in 1989 rather than '79. good album, nice mix of songs, not particularly funky from memory

hello, i search nomads-same, village original lp, i have nomads-unity from 1979 and it's very good roots, anybody could tell me if same is roots too?

it is NOT from 1979, if so its not the same band. they came out of detroit, released this album independently and its a cult lp by now

they had a wicked female gospel-like singer, a male singer who did a nice peter tosh impersonation, a good cover of the staple singers and on and on

ok, i said a mistake, there isn't nomads-same, do you know how many albums did nomads from detroit? is unity the only one? thanks for your response
