oh yeah ! Sam Bramwell has one of the sweetest voice of the late 70's imo. And Lopez Walker too ! A pity they recorded so few tunes.

The only thing I don't like on this CD is the post-encoding treatment which results in a big loss of dynamics.

I totally agree. Absolutely superb.

Favourite track for me is The Terrors - "Assemble Not Thyself" closely followed by Steve Boswell & Jah Berry - "Cool Rastaman Cool".

As is nearly all Roy Francis Phase One output.

If you like this, then these are also must have albums

[cover=1960,2316]
[cover=584,694]

Some great 12"s too but those are pretty rare.

imo Phase One is one of the great sounds in reggae.

'Assemble Not Thyself' is possibly my all-time favourite tune. Beautiful!

Excellent Phase One site here - **["X-Ray Music"](http://xraymusic.co.uk/)**. (Navigation bar on left-hand side).

Bartek,

Phase One Dubwise Vol. 1 & 2 is actually a twoofer of

"Dawn Of Creation" and "Phase One Dubwise"

Both are Revolutionaries Dub Albums which I thought I had previously sent to you.

I have not heard the Twoofer but I think the mixes are slightly watered down from the original 2 albums I mention.

All the dubs on those 2 albums I believe were originally issued as Version B sides to 7" singles.
