Jackie Mitto IS REALY ONE OF THE GREATEST PLAYING PIANO AND ORGAN AMONG SLIM SMITH ETC...
BUT MEMBER HE NORMALY DOESN´T DUB ONLY PLAYS THE BEATIFULL ORGAN,IN THIS CASE IS KING TUBBY AT THE CONTROLS SEEN!!

True true,
Jackie Mittoo was the musical backbone to all the Studio One classics as a musical director and musician. Reggae music would not be like it is and was without this man.
And his own 'Macka Fat' for Coxsone is BEST....big and broad and everlasting great. Go get it.

Not only the best reggae organ player but the best reggae instrumentist of them all!
By the way, check him out as a soul-funk player! "Juice box" from Keep on dancing album is troumendeous!!!
As someone allready said, reggae music would not be in the form we know today without this "huge" man!

'Juice Box' is a killer! If you are familiar with the LP version of The Doors 'Light My Fire' this Jackie Mittoo track is based on that long instrumental break.
