I have noticed that some people in here think that politics should not be discussed in this forum.

To those people I ask you this: What would Bob Marley have said if someone told him to keep his political views separate from reggae?

Reggae is full of political messages like "equal rights" and "justice". How does that kill music? What I like about most reggae is that it has substance and does not just talk about what size rims one has on their vehicle or what is one's acoholic drink of choice. The later is babylon if you ask me.

I dont consider equal rights and justice and freedom as politics, thats because they are not politics.
They are human rights, but the well educated class everything is poll a tricks, if your oppressed and fight against the oppression thats not politics.
Politics never have an answer to a question.

peace

I made a poor choice by using the word "politics". I was not really referring to discussions of government, just issues going on in the world like human rights and environmental degredation. My bad.
