From what I know Bob Marley supposedly never recorded a dubplate ... there's still some uncertaincy if Rodigan has a dubplate by him. So I think it's highly unlikely of Killamanjaro having a dubplate of BM, even less likely having him deejaying.

this goes especially out to "kalcidis", the non believer yout'. i finally found a clip, not of the jaro bob go dj pon dubplate, but a rodigan dubplate wid bob singing "chase those crazy sound boy right out of town". him did nah finish the whole burial chune, but ended wid bob marley saying "rodigan a build the riddim". my clip only 36 sec proof. to the doubters. bet dem mussa haffe hear the bob dj, i'll find it soon. but at least the doubting thomas, that nah think rodigan have a bob marley special, dubplate , sound bwoy burial, bwoy haffe tek heed, ca yuh dunno seh, lang time rodigan gun di place wi dem rare dubplate dat him kill other sound wid inna competition.

so easy to get a copycat of marley.
some bob's dub plates ? they would be famous worldwild, man ! not like a little video here and there, a few boasts from unknown sources...
Jaro would play them rather twice...

don't say it is impossible. but need more than a sound alike dub plate (of chase them ? so obvious !) to be convinced.

I'm not saying Bob never did any dubplates but there are still some points that are strange.

First of all, if any sound had a Bob dubplate the fact would be well known and I can't image the selector never play it (or so few times that a doubt still exists)...

Second, so far I know a little about sound business, I don't think that Bob was really hot on the dancehall after he signed with Island. Not saying that no sound played Bob tunes, but only that artists like J Clarke or J Miller were more popular in Jamaica during the mid/late 70's and Briggy or Yellowman at the time he passed away...

Third (I'm perhaps wrong) the dubplate business was not as big as it is nowadays. Artists were still very implicated in the live performance in the dancehall. The dubplates replaced the artists singing or toasting live during the 80's. I have few sound tapes from the early 80's and in most of them the tunes played are regular cut and the deejay did their job pon de version (or alternative dubs cut as dubplates)... I think that the dubplates were cuted for the VERY VERY bigs clashes back in the time AND still presented new riddims. The recut of already know tunes as dubplates with slighty alternative lyrics really grew up in the late 80's...

Fourth, as someone expressed here, doing a fake is quite easy. There was a sound sample to download on DHR presenting the fake Tenor Saw plates owned by Jammy.

Fifht, I can imagine nevertheless some sounds had Marley plates, but I can't image Bob doing it inna deejay style. He was not famous for this kind of stuff and I can't see the point of having a plate from a very famous singer doing everything but what he is famous for.
