First, it would be nice if you could turn off Caps Lock. It makes you look like you're shouting at us.

Second, did you know you can search by Song on Roots Archives? Just click the "advanced" link under the Search bar on the left menu. Then click the Song radio box and type in the song you want to search for. It will give you something that looks like this:

while on the subject of the prolific Scientist... i have always got the impression his music is secular.

i have never tried to research this... but was/is Scientist a religious person? his approach is very meditative... but the content is cold, and there is a distance at many times between his selections and his listener.

can anyone shed light on this?

As far as I know he is not so 'cold' nowadays...
He is still touring/performing in the US but got banned by many clubs and centres becaused he is notorious for ruining the equipment ( blowing up expensive speakers and stuff )

I don't think Scientist was ever a Rasta if that's what you mean. Neither was Tubby for that matter. I have no idea what their actual religious views were.
