King Tubby meets the Reggae Masters

Has anyone else picked this up?

The first 5 tracks are absolute killers:
Budwah-Wailing Souls
Life Is Not Easy- Anthony Johnson
Hard Time- Black Uhuru
The Word of Jah- Barrington Levy
Eyes of Africa- Tabby Diamonds

The other 9 are also quality works with the great King Tubby as well. Jet Star puts out quite a few gems now and then and this IMO is definitely one. Anyone else want to chime in?

P.S. An added bonus to this CD is the great liner notes. The author gives the most detail about the circumstances surrounding Tubby's death that I have seen in a release. Interesting for these facts alone but includes a lot more information besides the details of his death.

Hello

approx 5 7" singles were issued by Vintage Avenue Records, including Eyes Of Africa & Inna Mi Yard back in the 90's.

From memory most if not all were badly mastered/pressed although on the whole still listenable.

cheers
