this turned up in my local record store. would normally buy it as I love Roots Radics and Channel One but I generally find Jah Thomas Productions a bit dull. Anyone own it?
ps I imagine it is not actually a 'live' album. great cover though!

I agree with leggo, Jah Thomas has some great productions although "Roots Radics Live at Channel One" is not the greatest.
On a dub note, I picked up this a while ago

I know its on Rhino but its one of the best dub albums I have heard in a long time.
Wicked riddims and sound quality pretty good to.
If was on any other label it would be called a Killer.

compared with the roots radics on junjo and linval thompson productions Jah Thomas stuff is not such high quality for me. I quite like his king tubby's meets scientist albums but must admit I cannot always tell the difference between supposed scientist cmopared to tubby's tracks on the midnight rock stuff (whereas usually the difference feels very clear).
perhaps people disagree?

its a good dub album, first tune side A is a scorcher with the horn melody
