hey guys i have a question. i heard that the african brothers broke up in 1974. but the want some freedom album has material that was recorded in 1978. how can that be?

According to several websites & label this one was issued first in 1979 & re-issued 2001 ->

will ask eric bubbles when I see him this week. I am guessing this is pre 75 but will check for you.

spoke to the man himself. This is a mistake on the cd issuer. most of the songs recorded even prior to 74. 1965 and onward

If anyone is interested I have a promo copy of a few new tunes Eric Bubbles is working on. I was going to wait to put them on a future podcast but if anyone would like to preview drop me a line. Also have some African brothers 45's ive been meaning to digitize. alot of nice b side versions.
