I think it was a group...
they indeed had a tune on hitbound/channel one - beware of your enemies. It was later transformed into the well known dubplate 'kunte kinte'
they also did some other channel tunes that I haven't heard yet : 'skylarking, moving away, jah creation...

...and there is a 10inch repress on Channel One Gold label Beware/Satta Massa Gana in nice stepper's style... From what I know, they weren't lasting for a long time. To quote RRG: '(Creole) disappeared after just couple of 45s...'

Creole - Skylarking [06:27] with Skylarking (Extended Dub) [06:19] on the B side was a 12inch on HitBound (DSR4151)
Great track & Dub
Beware Of Your Enemies was also on HitBound (1977) as well as Channel 1 (Joe Joe 1314). Another single by them was Moving Away with Skylarking on the B side, again on HitBound.

Just fyi, that cut of Satta is by Earth & Stone
