Yellowman's live show, how is it?

Yellowman is coming 'round my way, and I'm thinking of getting tickets. However, I worry about his current setlist and sound; I love his early and mid eighties output, but can't stand his 90's sound (more to do with the riddims and music backing him during this period, not his vocals).
Also he's backed by the Saggitarius Band; do they have a very 'rootsy sound' or is it more digital and clean/empty (less instrumentation).

Anyone been to a recent Yellowman show? :)

Saw King Yellow last year at the Geel Festival in Belgium.

Very energetic as he must be nearly 50,the voice has changed i think this is a result of the stroke from many years back.

The Saggitarius band is not the same line up the toured with yellow in the 80's.

Not blown away by the show but great to see one of our reggae heroes still in action, many have fallen along the way.

While your there try and get a photo,he's a very nice man.

What a nice weekend we will have in the 18" corner on Friday and the main stage on Saturday in Geel isn't it?

REALLY LOOKING FORWARD!

Yellowman is FIT. When I saw him a couple of years ago(well, maybe almost ten, damn) he basically put on an aerobics workout on the stage. The band was killing it, and Yellowman was doing jumping jacks, push-ups, high knees, and running back and forth on stage for the entire show. He should tape it and sell "RubaDubaCize" on daytime infomercials.

His voice was a bit slurred, but the show was fantastic!

I've been watching Yellowman shows for almost 20 years on and off and it's very similar.
I saw him last summer and very reminiscent of past shows.

His concerts are medleys of past and some modern songs.
This track listing from Live at Maritime Hall is what you may hear. King Yello!!!

1. Comin In From The Cold / Medley / You Yellowman
2. Nobody Move Nobody Get Hurt
3. Oh Carolina / Medley / Holy Mount Zion / Poco Jump
4. Yo Yo / Medley / Boombastic (Use Your Rubber Rubber)
5. Girl Watcher / Medley
6. Two To Six, Supermix / Medley / Operation Radication / In A Dis A Time / Lost Mi Love
7. Me Believe / Medley / Summer Holiday / Love Letter
8. Blueberry Hill
9. Mr Chin / Medley / Yellowman Getting Married / Bam Bam / The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly / Mad Over Me / Girls Can't Do What The Guys Do / Zungguzungguzuzungguzeng
10. Romie (Intro) / Yellow Like Cheese / Medley / One Scotch, One Bourbon, One Beer / Keep On Moving
11. Jamaica Nice

Thanks for the replies guys(and that setlist Toyan(tu)), I can't miss seeing a legend like this live... funny thing though, the promo poster says "doing his hit songs" and lists 'Master Chin' :D

EDIT: I have the worst luck lately with reggae shows; Toots show in May was cancelled, Buju show last week postponed... hope I have more luck this time!
