Both good suggestions. I like the DJ clash idea, Dave, as I can cope with that. But I am not sure how much UK roots is in my collection apart from 'Handsworth Revolution' Of course..

You never know, I might even shock you with a digital reggae mix up!

agree with bonga. You need some 85-89 mixtape! Check the big labels such as Vena, Firehouse, Sunset, Parish etc...

If I do a digi mix, you'll have to make do with what I have on vinyl as I ONLY mix these up live with my own vinyl. Non stop recording with no computer editing at all.

I record - I don't edit.
Of course I encode to MP3, or they wouldn't be downloads.
BUT I do not use any waveform or other editing software.
I don't even use a computer to do this, at least not a PC.
Instead I use an I-Key USB recxorder and a flash drive.
I record the sets in one go, non stop, from start to finish, using my twin Technics sl1210s and a DJ mixer just as if I was at a club.
I am simply recording as if it was cassette.
And that, Bonga, is not computer editing.
