Last week, I had the opportunity to interview Delroy Wright, the brother of Hyman "Jah Life" Wright. He is most known for his Live & Learn label out of the Washington, DC area and his Jamaican music productions of the Mighty Diamonds, Wailing Souls, Don Carlos, Billy Boyo, and many others.

At the end of the interview, Delroy confided that although many people have asked him for interviews over the years, his interview with me was only the second of his career.

The interview lasted about an hour. I broke it up into two parts. Part 1 is available now at RhythmUpdate.com. I think many of you will find this enjoyable and enlightening.

Thank you for posting this! I had trouble understanding what Delroy said about Barrington, but it seems that Roddy clarified what I thought I heard - that Mr. Levy was "somewhat" unreliable for sessions. Can't wait for part II!

Great podcast! Never seen it before which makes it a treat to have so many earlier shows at once now.
