Okay, I'm gonna plead ignorance here.

I know Marcus Garvey is the figure at the top of this LP cover. Who are the two people below him?

I think one of the people portrayed is Joseph Hill.

lovely artwork, same artist that painted yabby you's beware and aswads new chapter of dub. as the three heads are on a map of africa i'd guess the third figure wearing the african head dress represents shaka zulu or some other warrior figure. just a guess of course. excellent album by the way. the brass is really nice.

LOL... Come on lads that is not Shaka Zulu i know for a fact coming from South Africa i know what image they would of presented him as! and with a head dress like that? no chance!

i was under the understanding that cumbolo means "dance" ital k.

hi jj. just googled it. it reads: cumbolo=associates,group of friends. also a dance. one things for sure, its a top record. hey dubs, hows it going in S.A. who was W.guthrie. i'd like to know more...thanks
