Picked this up last week.
[cover=2849,1485]
Apart from the obvious well known DJs, there are 7 artists on this compilation that are totally obscure to me.
MC Daddy Mike Jarrett, Rev & Badox I dont at all but they have great vocal approaches steeped in the 70`s sound.
LJ rap sounds like a New York hip hop artist.
Tuffest, Tillibengah and Jitsy King have very gruff vocals that seem to predict the later Ragga period and sound way ahead of their time.
To me this album came as a real surprise as I was expecting a pure 70`s DJ album but some of these tracks could have been recorded years later.
Whats do you guys think of this album and also can anyone tell me a litte bit about these obscure artists.
Thanks
Dave
