I recently stumbled across a version of Wayne Jarret - Saturday Night Jamboree - Thanks to Leggo for the heads up, it's a wicked tune - with a DJ named Silver Fox tagged onto the end. Can't find anything about the man. Would guess from the lyrics he is from london but does anyone know anything about him ?

Sorry, I have no info on Silver Fox, but here's the tune, with "Noah's Ark" as well for those who haven't heard it.

Silver Fox has his own label and came out with a 10" called: -
"Rastafari Will Come" - Ras Echo, "Rastafari Dub - Silver Fox, "Psalms" - Silver Fox and a 7" in 2006.

It's not the same Silver Fox that has that label I think?
Anyway, I'm pretty certain that Silver Fox was a Jamaican based in New York. He and rapper Brother D released a split cassette album (Up Against the Beast) for Lister Hewan-Lowes Clappers label. It's a pretty great set where Silver Fox chats in a fine style over several great rhythms. Rapper Brother D is unfortunately not as good on this release. There's an interesting reggae version of Brother D's classic »How We Gonna Make The Black Nation Rise« on it.
Haven't heard him on too many other releases than that Jah Life 12" and the Clappers cassette though. Pretty certain I've got a Black Star Liner sound tape where he features and also an Aces International. But it is very limited what he has put out. Which is a pity since he's a great deejay.
