Hi to everybody,
what a useful site for all reggae fans
I wish I'd found it sooner!
Here's a query for you experts out there.
Can anybody tell me something about a dub
LP from the early 80s called Afrikan History
by Mandingo Hotsteppers esp. the tracklist?
It was a great favourite of John Peel (the guy
who taught me to love reggae....& a LOT more!).
Sadly I no longer posess the vinyl but thank Jah
I though of taping it as it's areal classic!
I'm in the process of archiving my sprawling collection
of cassettes & I can't find this one on the web.
Any info much appreciated.
Thanks
Pablo

Producer is Martin 'Mandingo' Williams
Most of the tracks are dubs to Nathan Skyers' 'Dem a fight I' (MAH LP 003).

Thanks for the info everybody .
What I'd like to know really is
the names of the tracks.I remember
they were named after historical African
characters & there was a brief explanation
below each title.I presume the musicians are the same as the 'Dem a fight I' LP.
Thanks for getting me this far.
