But maybe there's a windows version for the program you use?

Windows: I use Sound Forge for my wav files - don't use the pre-settings (it spoils your rip), but try some settings step by step.

Can you use sound forge for MP3 also?
'Cause besides my WAVS I have also a few MP3's that need editing.

The CDs from vinyl just sound incredible. Why, I would like to know, do the *pre-recorded* CDs you buy not have this much bass?
