The lyrics goes something like this;
"Saloman was the wises man, but he don't know the secrets of women(?)"
I found this song on a mixtape. If anyone know the name of the group or/and the who recorded the mixtape please let me know!
Big J.

Thanks a lot! It's a mad tune. Do any of you know what mixtape I'm talking about? It's 42 songs, all seems to be recorded in the 60's and 70's. The third song is "tribute to marley". I've download the mixtape and there's no names of either artists or songs.

I think Derrick Harriot was the first to record this tune. But Junor Murvin did write it! It is a very good song, and I was lucky enough to hear Jr. Murvin singing it live and in person a few months ago. His voice is not what it once was but he still puts on a good show and brought some energy to the stage.
Other songs on this rhythm include...
Dennis Alcapone - Riddle I This
Dennis Brown - Solomon
Derrick Harriot - Solomon
I Roy - Love Thy Neighbour
Josey Wales - Can't Leave Jah Alone
Junior Murvin - Solomon
Lone Ranger - Solomon
Lone Ranger - TRIBUTE TO BOB MARLEY
Scotty - Riddle I This
Take note of the second last song Jocko, could this be the one you mean? I think Prince Far I has also recorded a song by the title, "Tribute to (Bob) Marley".
Bless up.

Anyonbe know who's the singer behind the Dennis Alcapone version Riddle I dis? sounds like Linval Thompson or Barry Brown, but the version is too old to be these later singers. beautiful voice!

Sorry 'dread', but the voice on the Dennis Alcapone version is Dennis Brown who recorded 'Solomon' at Studio One.
Greetings
